The Dominican Republic is the ideal travel destination for most college baseball teams. The D.R. has a large quantity of baseball teams, concentrated within close proximity, that are capable of providing a high level of competition for college baseball teams. These teams include: all 30 MLB affiliates; Dominican Winter League Teams, Dominican Military teams.

The passion for baseball in the Dominican is unmatched and impossible to avoid. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave you will be seeing kids playing pickup games in the street, hearing men having animated conversations about baseball and seeing evidence of the many MLB players who come from the D.R. The Dominican Republic puts more people in Major League Baseball, per Capita, than any country in the world. Players include Robinson Cano, Albert Pujols and Jose Bautista.
